3 Great Things about Little Flower

Academics - Community - Tradition

I have discovered the greatest marketing ploy for anyone considering Little Flower—ninety-five consecutive hours with 23 fourteen-year-olds.

Over four days and nights on our trip to Washington, D.C., Little Flower eighth graders proved themselves to be kind, considerate, engaged, funny, polite, enjoyable young men and women.

ALL data shows Little Flower is strong , and getting stronger, academically.   Visitors to our school consistently mention the warmth and positive feelings in our building.  But the real value of a Little Flower education is evident in our graduates. The 23 members of the class of 2010 are well-equipped academically to succeed in whatever future endeavors they choose to pursue. More importantly, they have proven themselves well-prepared to be good, caring, Christian citizens we can all be proud of.

Congratulations and thank you to the parents and the young men and women of the class of 2010.

Seventh graders are building a chicken coop with the help of Chris Johnson and Ms. Mendis. Fourth graders will be doing a science unit that includes incubating, hatching and caring for chicken eggs/chicks. Two of the chicks will be included with the coop for auction at this year’s Summerfest. A great cross-curricular, cross-grade level, school/community project.

Congratulations to this year’s Science Fair Winners!!
