BALL, FOUR SQUARE, HOP SCOTCH, FRISBEE
AS WE FINISH UP APRIL WE
WILL BE WORKING ON THESE THREE GAMES. 6TH
GRADE WILL BE DESIGNING THEIR OWN HOP SCOTCH GAME FOR THE LOWER GRADES. The 8th grade will be playing Frisbee
golf. Eye hand coordination and object
manipulation will be our focus.

GRADE
THE
7TH GRADERS HAVE BEEN GIVEN THEIR PARTNERS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR
FIELD DAY. This is an important project
for them that affect all our students.
They design the games, implement the games, and run their station on
field day. Here is their outline for
this project.

Football toss, shot put, card
sort, cup stacking, long jump, hurdles, javelin throw, relay races, obstacle course,
peanut race.
Due date April 14, 2007
1. -
game request due. Please pick two games you would like to do. Both
attendants’ name on your paper with the name of your game and a brief
description of the game you choose.
Each team member must complete 3 of the 7 tasks. List the tasks that each of you will
complete.
Example- Mrs. Herrman will do #1,3,5 and Mrs.
Laham will do
#2, 4, 6. Both team members will do the Poster
together.
If you do not have your request in on this date you will be assigned a
game and loose 2 points.

2. Complete description of
the game you will do. This needs to be
as precise as possible and must include each and every step of
your game. Theses will be the instructions that you will give the students.
3. List all materials that you will be using and
how many of each piece of equipment, I will supply all materials except CD
player, Mrs. Herrman must approve all music.
4. List the physical requirements that your game
will require. Example;
running, passing, eye hand coordination, cooperative play.
5. Time your game, how long will it take 12
students to complete your game. Your
game should not be longer than 6 minutes.
6. Draw a picture of what your game will look
like on a separate sheet of paper include all parts, starting lines, finish
lines, where equipment will be, ect. This must look just like your game will look
at the field.
7. Poster to promote your game. Poster paper provided by Mrs.
Herrman. Be Creative, the number
of you station must be displayed in bold numbers on upper right hand corner of
your poster.
Each step completed will
receive 2 points for a total of 14 points.
You must work as a team
You will also be graded on
your performance as a station attendant.
