July 3rd - I had asked for prayers for Brandi because she was in a dark place in her life due to her addiction to drugs. Thanks to your prayers she checked herself into the Salvation Army rehab place!!!!!! She still has a long road ahead so please keep her in your prayers. Blessings to all, Debbie

July 3rd - Prayers are requested for Larry Hurt, long-time music director at St. Christopher, who passed away suddenly on Thursday evening.

July 2nd - Please keep Mary Striby and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Mary was a long time parishioner at LF and she passed away on July 1st, the day before her 95th birthday. Mary never married but was a wonderful aunt to 46 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and newphews. Her brother, Joe Striby, is also a parishioner at LF. Peggy Clegg

July 2nd - Al Brite called today, his cancer is in remission. Thank God and all his pray warriors. Dottie

July 1st - Please pray for Woody Sullivan, 91, who has fluid on the lungs and cellulitis in legs, he will be in a nursing home for now. Pray that he responds to treatments and adjusts to his new surroundings. Bless you all Katie

June 30th - Please ask everyone to pray for Mrs. Quill. Her daughters had to take her to the hospital last night with a temperature and sciatic pain. She has not had a good nights sleep for several days. Peace, Julie

June 22nd - Margaret Aull will be having eye surgery very soon to fix a hole they found in her eye. Brandi Stevens is in a dark place in her young life. She is in her mid 20's and is struggling with a drug addiction. She has a beautiful little daughter that is now in her grandparents custody (thank you God). June 19th - Thank you so much for praying for Chandy. She had her surgery Friday and all went well. She went home yesterday and is working on her recovery. Your prayers are so powerful.

June 19th - I met a mom in the grocery that poured her heart out why we were standing in line. Her daughter Danielle has a problem with drugs. Danielle is also a mother of a 7 year old girl. She is so worried about her daughter. I told her I knew some wonderful people that would help her pray for her daughter. Blessings to all,  Debbie

June 14th - Chandy is still in the hospital and still can't keep fluids down. She is scheduled to have her gall bladder removed on Wednesday but they are hoping to get her in this afternoon. Please pray that they can do surgery today and that she can begin her healing process and be able to go back home soon. Blessings to all, Debbie

June 11th - Chandy has been my best friend since 2nd grade. She is at Johnson County Memorial waiting to find out if she has gall stones or an issue with her pancreas. We are praying that it is gall stones which is the lesser of two evils. Please pray for a healing for Chandy. Blessings to all,  Debbie

June 11th - My Aunt Margie passed away yesterday. She is now at rest and not suffering anymore. Thank you so much for your prayers. Debbie

May 28th - My niece, Katie, would like for us to pray for Katherine Lee Brown. She just buried one of her twin boys who died in Iraq and she just found out she had cancer. Bring peace to her heart and mind and heal her from cancer.

May 27th - Barbara Elliott asks us to pray for Ryan Mitchell who had a tooth pulled a week ago and they can't get the bleeding to stop.

May 25th - Please pray for Karyn Rizzi and her family as she battles cancer. Please, please pray for Karyn and her beautiful family. For those of you who do not know Karyn, she is a beautiful wife and mom of 4 children ranging from 12 to 3 years of age. Karyn has also been battling breast cancer for several years now. May 19th - I just wanted everyone to know all of the powerful prayers for my dad, Bill Baecher, were certainly a big success. After 5 days in the hospital, my dad was able to return home to continue rehabilitation. He is so glad to be home. The stroke was a small and managable one and he is regaining alot of his strength.  Thank you all for reminding us how greatly able we become through prayer.  God Bless you all.  Katie Baecher

April 7th - I spoke to my friend Ryan earlier this afternoon and he said that a nurse dropped baby Sky (just born Monday night) this afternoon. While he seems to be ok, he is undergoing a series of x rays and a cat scan to be sure. Please pray that he is ok and for peace and calm for Ryan and Cherish. Thanks! Liz

April 7th - Cherish succesfully delivered Sky on Monday evening close to 9pm. He was over 8 lbs and healthy! Thanks for the prayers!  Liz

March 19th - Al Brite has had two chemo treatments, he is in the 4th stage. April 1st they are giving him a ct-che scan, if there is no improvement they will stop giving him treatments. Please pray that they find he has improved, this is a very scary time for him. Thank you.    Dottie

March 5th - Please pray for Charley Moss who has been diagnosed with lung cancer. They can't operate because it would seriously affect something else. They talked about removing the lung but they don't think the other one is strong enough for that. Pray that he will somehow be healed.  Dottie

February 9th - Please add Carson Wallace and his family to the Prayer Vine. He is the 16year old son of one of my coworkers. He was accidentally shot in the abdomen today and his mother had to administer CPR until the paramedics arrived. He is at Methodist Hospital in surgery and his parents were told he is very critical. February 2nd - My dear grandson (Grant Coe) is having life altering surgery tomorrow at Riley in Indy. He is four years old and was born with spina bifida. He is your typical four year old boy with no limitations other than he has no control over his bowels or ureter. Three separate procedures tomorrow should allow him to live a more normal life. Appreciate a prayer for him!

January 30th - They are going to take a biopsy of Al's right lung and some lymph nodes. Please pray that he is O.K. Thank you.

January 27th - Alice found out yesterday that she has breast cancer. They will be running tests on her to see if it has spread anywhere else. Becky found out today that she has a mass in her breast that they will be doing a biopsy on. Please pray for both of these ladies that they are healed. Blessings to all, Debbie

January 26th - Just want to let you and the LF Prayer Vine know the tests show my lymph nodes are clear and they removed all the cancerous tumor. Isn't that wonderful and thanks be to Our Lord. And thank you all for your prayers. I certainly felt the benefit of them the day of my surgery. Love, Lois

January 7th - Please pray for my nephew Jesse (21) who just found he has type 1 Diabetes. He is on 3 shots a day trying to get it leveled out but he is still between 200-300.  Brandi's divorce is final tomorrow and they will determine custody of her daughter. December 24th - This message was left on the Prayer Vine answering machine. They didn't say who they were but God will know. "Please pray that I meet someone and I won't be lonely anymore, to find someone that wants to share life with me, that is filled with Gods love, and pray that I am going in the direction He wants me to go in life."

December 19th - Tim's dad, Tim Kelly, just had a procedure (freezing) last week for skin cancer on several different spots on his body. He has to go back in January to determine if the freezing was effective. If it wasn't they will have to look at surgery and chemo. Please pray that the procedure killed the cancer cells. December 19th - A very dear friend of our family has a brother, Bill Davis, who is having extensive surgery in January. He has 3 anneurisms they need to work on. The doctors told him surgery is the only chance he has and they aren't too positive about what could happen. Please pray that they are able to help Bill Davis recover. December 17th - Thanks for your prayers…my mom just called and all is well with her job. She had a good meeting and her job is secure! She asked for prayers for her friend’s mother Mary who is on the way to the ER as I type for her heart… Liz

December 17th - I know this may not go out until too late, but please pray for my mother and my father-in-law. My mom is concerned about her job and has to meet with her boss and others today at 9:15. Please pray that she is able to keep her job. My father-in-law is going to court today to try to get guardianship of his mother who has Alzheimer’s. Some family members have refused to sign off on this and are preventing my in-laws from having financial information and access to provide for her. She had to move in with them last Saturday. She really needs to be in a facility that can better care for her and meet her needs.  Thanks!  Liz

December 16th - Please remember our parishioner, Vivian Hess, in your prayers. Vivian was 89 years young.  She passed away on December 13th. She was a life long member of LF and regularly attended the 5pm Mass until about 10 years ago when her health declined and she had to be put in a nursing home.

December 7th - Please pray for Deanie Gorton she has an infection in her colon. She had a very bad infection like this years ago. This time they wanted to put her in the hospital but she opted to take medicine at home. We rely on prayers so much. Thank you.

October 21st - My Dearest Ed lost his battle with Cancer, Tuesday 20 October 2009. He was so courageous and fought such a tough battle, one he just couldn’t win. God looked down from the heavens and saw that Ed was tired and weary; he came to take him home where there is no suffering, no pain and he will have everlasting life. Praise God!  Thank You For Your Prayers!   Pat

October 20th - Ed is seriously ill in the hospital with terminal lung cancer and has just gone into renal failure. The doctors say he has less than a week- thought maybe the ISCS members would like to know he was critical part of holding this Society together for many years. A good guy and a wonderful friend to me for 50 years. 

October 20th - One of my best friends has been in so much pain with arthritis during this crazy weather we are having. She has an interview at 2pm today but hasn't been able to sleep all night because of the pain. September 21st - My son had an accident at work last week. They were trying to pull a tractor out of a ditch and the log chain broke and hit him in the face. He got over 50 stitches in his face and it knocked out 2 of his teeth. God is good, it could have killed him or put out his eye but he is in a lot of pain and has a lot of surgeries in front of him. Emotionally and physically he is a wreck. Would you please add him to the prayer list? Hopefully he can better deal with this with some help from above. Thank you.   Mary Clevenger

September 15th - Please pray for my sister-in-law who fell and broke her collar bone and pelvis. I went to see her today and she was in a lot of pain. They transferred her to Wildwood for more gentle therapy, the hospital gives a more intense therapy. Thank you. She is 90 years old.

September 14th - Tim and I went to the Pediatric GI today. They have scheduled Tim for a colonoscopy for the 21st and we will get the results on the 29th.  The doctor released Tim to play football so apparently he thinks it is nothing serious. September 10th - Thank you everyone for your prayers for my granddaughter Becka She was released yesterday (Wed 9/9) from Riley Hospital after 2 1/2 weeks on dialysis. She will still have to be on dialysis a few hours each night until her "numbers" indicate she is back to normal. She will be able to go back to school next week. She will be 10 years old on Sept 27th. Continue to keep her and her family in your prayers that she has a complete recovery. Thanks again,     Frances Brown

September 7th - Dr. Mike Madden is a graduate of Little Flower. He is also a permanent deacon in Wisconsin . He asked for our prayers. He is the medical director for the Fox Cities Community Health Center . The health center is in the midst of a fund drive, simply aimed at meeting its needs through the end of the year. The health center, which opened as a free clinic in 1997, targets the uninsured or underinsured in Calumet, Outagamie and Winnebago counties in Wisconsin .    Thanks.   fr. bob

Tim's regular doctor was able to get a Sept 22nd appt with Dr. Steven Fitts in Noblesville which is a week earlier than the emergency room doctor expected. September 3rd - My son had blood in his stool this afternoon. They ran tests at the emergency room and he did have blood in his stool. I will be trying to make an appointment tomorrow with St. Francis or Riley who has a pediatric GI doctors. Please pray that it is something minor and easily corrected. August 31st - Please pray for a family friend whose 13 year old daughter, Ja ne’ Powell, died over the weekend from an asthma attack. Please keep her parents and two younger sisters in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Also, please pray for 9 year old Rebecka Brown, grand daughter of our parishioners, Frances Brown and Frances Harris. She has been in Riley Hospital with sudden kidney failure and is currently undergoing dialysis. Please pray that the doctors can find out what is causing her problems and that she fully recovers. August 31st - Thank you for your prayers for our social worker, Josette. Surgery went well, and today the pathology report came back benign! No cancer after all.  Georgia

August 30th - Chandy had her first colonoscopy and had a precancerous polyp removed. Pathology said it was clear but her surgeon is having it re-tested. The results should be coming back Wednesday. Please pray that Chandy does not have cancer.  Thanks so much for all you do!! Debbie

August 25th - Donna&Butch Brown's son Andy had a heart attack Monday the 24th. They put in a long stint, he had one artery that was completely blocked. He will probably be released in a couple of days. Please keep this family in your prayers, they have been going through a lot lately. They really rely on the prayers. Thanks.

July 31st - A dear friend of mine has had some major battles in her life (ie: running from stalkers, having her motherhood challenged, her and her husband lost their jobs). She is a very strong woman who gets her strength from a strong faith in God, her children and husband. Whenever I talk with her she is always so positive, caring and so good. July 27th - Our parishioner, Eva Hodgson, (92) passed away on July 26th. She was active in St. Vincent DePaul and volunteered at Community Hospital for a number of years before her health declined. She was a “doer” and loved helping others. May God grant Eva eternal rest and bring comfort to her 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.   Peggy

July 24th - I had sent out a prayer request for Lois Richter a few times before because she is battling cancer. She is a long time, very dedicated volunteer for Birthline. She is still going through chemo and she is experiencing some bad side effects from it. July 16th - Please pray for the family of Janet Boyle who passed away and whose funeral Mass will be this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with calling from 10-10:30 in church. Janet was married to Fr. July 14th - Julie is having a masectomy on Thursday, the information is below. Julie has a son, Elijah, who is going into the 7th grade this year and her mother, Charlene has been a parishoner for a long time. Please keep all of them in your prayers.

July 10th - Can you guys pray for my sister? She is the most awesome person I know. She owns several companies and with this economy it is hitting them hard. She takes care of our 88 year old mother. She pays for everything... her apartment, food, doctors, utilities, EVERYTHING. She also helps take care of numerous WWII veterans that were on my Dad's LST. She donates her time for disaster relief in NYC (she is also a registered nurse) and helps out all of her family. The list could go on and on. And she never asks for anything in return. Can you ask that God helps her be able to keep her clients and also to bring the companies additional work. Thanks so much. I think an angel or two would help.   Love, Cindy

July 10th - Rose is a wonderful woman I work with. She actually belongs to Holy Rosary parish and her children attend Central Catholic. She lives in a 2 bedroom apartment with her 2 children and her mother. Her children are 10 and 13. Her mother has a number of medical problems and Rose has problems with her heart.  Please pray that Rose receives the help she needs, finds a place to live that is reasonably priced with 3 bedrooms and able to find a job baking that is close to her home.  Thank you so much for your help with Rose.  Blessings to all,  Debbie

July 1st - We received notification from Dave that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He begins radiation treatment tomorrow. He is undergoing treatment at the Veteran’s Hospital. Please pray for Dave and his family as they deal with his illness. Dave receives no income from his job unless he is working. Dave is a member of our Catholic Center family.

June 29th - Please pray for KC, who took a sudden turn for the worst and is actively dying from esophageal cancer--and for his friends and family.  And please pray for my friend who has had far too much loss and stress in his life recently. Georgia
