February 22nd - Please pray for our parishioner, Frank, who is having some health problems and having tests run. Pray that the doctors may determine what is wrong with him and how to help him.  Peggy Clegg

February 18th - Al Brite found out today that he has cancer in the lungs and lymph nodes. He's starting chemo next week. please pray for his complete recovery. Dottie

February 16th - Please pray for eternal rest for our former parishioner, Judith Aldrich Irelan. February 15th - Devon,48, had a stroke yesterday. She has feelings back in her leg and arm but is still struggling in other areas. Please pray that she completely recovers from her stroke. Blessings to all, Debbie

February 15th - Please pray for eternal rest for Robert Guy. Robert was 68 years young and a former member of Little Flower before moving to Florida with his wife, Maryann Hickman Guy. His arrangements are as follows: Calling: Friday 2/19 from 4-8 pm at Feeney Hornak on Shadeland Ave.  Funeral: Saturday 2/20 at 11:30am at LF. Peggy Clegg

February 9th - Please add Carson Wallace and his family to the Prayer Vine. He is the 16year old son of one of my coworkers. He was accidentally shot in the abdomen today and his mother had to administer CPR until the paramedics arrived. He is at Methodist Hospital in surgery and his parents were told he is very critical. February 9th - Please pray for Jeannette and her family. I just heard that she lost her husband last Friday night (following two difficult surgeries). And for John’s soul, may he be at peace. Liz Cheever

February 5th - For Jim and his sister who had colon surg with the removal of most of her colon and is very sick. The Drs say she will become sicker before she gets better. Thanks for your prayers. Jane Bell

February 2nd - My dear grandson (Grant Coe) is having life altering surgery tomorrow at Riley in Indy. He is four years old and was born with spina bifida. He is your typical four year old boy with no limitations other than he has no control over his bowels or ureter. Three separate procedures tomorrow should allow him to live a more normal life. Appreciate a prayer for him!

January 30th - They are going to take a biopsy of Al's right lung and some lymph nodes. Please pray that he is O.K. Thank you.

January 27th - Alice found out yesterday that she has breast cancer. They will be running tests on her to see if it has spread anywhere else.  Becky found out today that she has a mass in her breast that they will be doing a biopsy on. Please pray for both of these ladies that they are healed. Blessings to all, Debbie

January 26th - Just want to let you and the LF Prayer Vine know the tests show my lymph nodes are clear and they removed all the cancerous tumor. Isn't that wonderful and thanks be to Our Lord. And thank you all for your prayers. I certainly felt the benefit of them the day of my surgery. Love, Lois

January 26th - Please pray for Rick Fischer and his family, Michelle, Maddie and Molly. Rick had surgery today which didn't go as well as hoped. It looks like he will need more surgery later this week. Please pray for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. Please keep the whole family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks

January 13th - Please pray for our parishioner, Mary Stout, who had to move from her apartment at St. Paul Hermitage to the Health Care Unit at the Hermitage. She is not happy about having to move. Please pray for Mary during this time of transition.  Peggy Clegg

January 7th - Please pray for my nephew Jesse (21) who just found he has type 1 Diabetes. He is on 3 shots a day trying to get it leveled out but he is still between 200-300.  Brandi's divorce is final tomorrow and they will determine custody of her daughter. January 6th - Please pray for a co-worker who is in a scary domestic violence situation. Please pray for her safety and a peaceful end to her 25 year marriage. Also, please pray for healing for her husband who seems to be mentally ill.  Liz Cheever

December 24th - This message was left on the Prayer Vine answering machine. They didn't say who they were but God will know. "Please pray that I meet someone and I won't be lonely anymore, to find someone that wants to share life with me, that is filled with Gods love, and pray that I am going in the direction He wants me to go in life."

December 19th - Tim's dad, Tim Kelly, just had a procedure (freezing) last week for skin cancer on several different spots on his body. He has to go back in January to determine if the freezing was effective. If it wasn't they will have to look at surgery and chemo. Please pray that the procedure killed the cancer cells. December 19th - A very dear friend of our family has a brother, Bill Davis, who is having extensive surgery in January. He has 3 anneurisms they need to work on. The doctors told him surgery is the only chance he has and they aren't too positive about what could happen. Please pray that they are able to help Bill Davis recover. December 18th - Diane, Ed's sister, requested that we pray for Ed Galluzzi has been having eye problems. His sister, Diane, would like for us to pray for a healing.

December 17th - Thanks for your prayers…my mom just called and all is well with her job. She had a good meeting and her job is secure! She asked for prayers for her friend’s mother Mary who is on the way to the ER as I type for her heart… Liz

December 17th - I know this may not go out until too late, but please pray for my mother and my father-in-law. My mom is concerned about her job and has to meet with her boss and others today at 9:15. Please pray that she is able to keep her job. My father-in-law is going to court today to try to get guardianship of his mother who has Alzheimer’s. Some family members have refused to sign off on this and are preventing my in-laws from having financial information and access to provide for her. She had to move in with them last Saturday. She really needs to be in a facility that can better care for her and meet her needs.  Thanks!  Liz

December 16th - Please remember our parishioner, Vivian Hess, in your prayers. Vivian was 89 years young. She passed away on December 13th. She was a life long member of LF and regularly attended the 5pm Mass until about 10 years ago when her health declined and she had to be put in a nursing home.

December 13th - Please remember our parishioner, Gerrie Sweeney who passed away on Saturday, December 12th. She is the mother of our parishioners, Patrick Sweeney, Brigid Gedig, and Kathleen Bewsey. December 8th - Chris Kelly would like for us to pray for Laura Daniels who passed away 17 yrs ago today.

December 7th - Please pray for Deanie Gorton she has an infection in her colon. She had a very bad infection like this years ago. This time they wanted to put her in the hospital but she opted to take medicine at home. We rely on prayers so much. Thank you.

December 6th - Please keep Arcella Triska's mother in your prayers. Her name is Elena Berrios and she suffered a serious brain bleed and is not expected to live. Please pray also for Arcella and all of her family during this difficult time. Thanks, Peggy Clegg

December 1st - My sister-in-law and neice are arguing with a soon to be ex-son-in-law. Please pray that the son-in-law gets the help he needs and they reach a peaceful resolve soon. Blessings to all,  Debbie

November 27th - Jo Valenti is still in constant pain. She is in a wheel chair and there is nothing they can do for her. Her bones are so fragile. She needs a hip replacement but she has nothing to anchor it to. Please keep her in your prayers daily. Thank you. Dottie

November 21st - Please pray that Gene's pacemaker was installed correctly yesterday and that he has no problems with it. Blessings, Debbie

November 15th - One of my best friends has been suffering terribly for about 6 weeks with pain in her hips. They have given her prednisone and I pray that it relieves her pain. Pray that the doctors find out what is causing the pain and can correct it. blessings to all,  Debbie

November 13th - Please keep Mary Erlenbaugh in your prayers. She has skin cancer and will soon begin 5-6 weeks of chemo and radiation.  Pray also for Ann Miller as she is battling cancer as well. Peggy Clegg

November 12th - Please pray for Lorraine Spencer, wife of Bob Spencer, volunteer at St. Vincent Depaul. Lorraine has been fighting illness for awhile and was recovering at the nursing home, but this morning was unresponsive and rushed to the hospital. She has not regained conciousness. October 21st - My Dearest Ed lost his battle with Cancer, Tuesday 20 October 2009. He was so courageous and fought such a tough battle, one he just couldn’t win. God looked down from the heavens and saw that Ed was tired and weary; he came to take him home where there is no suffering, no pain and he will have everlasting life. Praise God! Thank You For Your Prayers!    Pat

October 20th - Ed is seriously ill in the hospital with terminal lung cancer and has just gone into renal failure. The doctors say he has less than a week- thought maybe the ISCS members would like to know he was critical part of holding this Society together for many years. A good guy and a wonderful friend to me for 50 years. 

October 20th - One of my best friends has been in so much pain with arthritis during this crazy weather we are having. She has an interview at 2pm today but hasn't been able to sleep all night because of the pain. Please pray that she gets the rest she needs and does well in her interview today.   Blessings to all, Debbie

October 19th - My next procedure will be October 20th at Clarian North. They will be removing the expanders and replacing them with the implants. Thank you for all your support during this long lasting, draining procedure. IT IS ALMOST OVER!!!!! Thanks again everyone, Julie

October 19th - Mary has an interview tomorrow at 2pm and she is currently experiencing a lot of pain in her hips from arthritis. Please pray that she is relieved of pain and her interview goes well.  Blessings to all,  Debbie

October 10th - Recently I found out about a 30 year old woman who had a hysterectomy and has had 3 surgeries since and is in ICU. Please pray for her and her family. Her name is Lisa. Also, my boss, who is also a Lisa is ill and off work very suddenly. I heard it is serious, so please pray for her, as well. God bless, Bobbie Lawless

September 21st - My son had an accident at work last week. They were trying to pull a tractor out of a ditch and the log chain broke and hit him in the face. He got over 50 stitches in his face and it knocked out 2 of his teeth. God is good, it could have killed him or put out his eye but he is in a lot of pain and has a lot of surgeries in front of him. Emotionally and physically he is a wreck. Would you please add him to the prayer list? Hopefully he can better deal with this with some help from above. Thank you.  Mary Clevenger

September 17th - Please say a prayer of thanksgiving for the safe and healthy arrival of my nephew, Kaden Edward Simmons. He is 8 lbs 2 oz and is 21 ½ inches long! After a rough few months my sister Megan is fine (and relieved)! Thank you God!   Liz

September 15th - Please pray for my sister-in-law who fell and broke her collar bone and pelvis. I went to see her today and she was in a lot of pain. They transferred her to Wildwood for more gentle therapy, the hospital gives a more intense therapy. Thank you. She is 90 years old.

September 15th - Please add my friend Mary Lou Hudson to the prayer vine. She is in critical condition. From 1946-1948, she taught here as St. Charlotte Marie.  fr. bob

September 14th - Tim and I went to the Pediatric GI today. They have scheduled Tim for a colonoscopy for the 21st and we will get the results on the 29th.  The doctor released Tim to play football so apparently he thinks it is nothing serious. More than likely a fissure (small tear). Please continue to keep Tim in your prayers that all is healed.  Blessings to all!!!   Debbie Spalding

September 14th - Please pray for my brother and his family and for the repose of the soul of his mother-in-law, Martha Miller, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday 9/11. Her funeral is today at 1pm. My brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephew were all very close and this has been very difficult for everyone. Thank you for your prayers.  Liz

September 10th - Thank you everyone for your prayers for my granddaughter Becka She was released yesterday (Wed 9/9) from Riley Hospital after 2 1/2 weeks on dialysis. She will still have to be on dialysis a few hours each night until her "numbers" indicate she is back to normal. She will be able to go back to school next week. She will be 10 years old on Sept 27th. Continue to keep her and her family in your prayers that she has a complete recovery. Thanks again,    Frances Brown

September 7th - Dr. Mike Madden is a graduate of Little Flower. He is also a permanent deacon in Wisconsin . He asked for our prayers. He is the medical director for the Fox Cities Community Health Center . The health center is in the midst of a fund drive, simply aimed at meeting its needs through the end of the year. The health center, which opened as a free clinic in 1997, targets the uninsured or underinsured in Calumet, Outagamie and Winnebago counties in Wisconsin .   Thanks.    fr. bob

September 5th - Thanks so much for your prayers. Tim's regular doctor was able to get a Sept 22nd appt with Dr. Steven Fitts in Noblesville which is a week earlier than the emergency room doctor expected. September 3rd - My son had blood in his stool this afternoon. They ran tests at the emergency room and he did have blood in his stool. I will be trying to make an appointment tomorrow with St. Francis or Riley who has a pediatric GI doctors. Please pray that it is something minor and easily corrected. September 3rd - Please add Frank Murray to the prayer list. He has been diagnosed with Kidney Cancer and will have an operation on 9/10. Pray that the cancer stays contained within the kidney. peace Leonard Murray

September 1st - Please pray for eternal rest for our parishioner, Victoria Clifford, 94, who passed away on 8/30. She is the mother of James Clifford of our parish. Her funeral services will be as follows:

August 31st - Please pray for a family friend whose 13 year old daughter, Ja ne’ Powell, died over the weekend from an asthma attack. Please keep her parents and two younger sisters in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  Also, please pray for 9 year old Rebecka Brown, grand daughter of our parishioners, Frances Brown and Frances Harris. She has been in Riley Hospital with sudden kidney failure and is currently undergoing dialysis. Please pray that the doctors can find out what is causing her problems and that she fully recovers. August 31st - Thank you for your prayers for our social worker, Josette. Surgery went well, and today the pathology report came back benign! No cancer after all.  Georgia

August 30th - Chandy had her first colonoscopy and had a precancerous polyp removed. Pathology said it was clear but her surgeon is having it re-tested. The results should be coming back Wednesday. Please pray that Chandy does not have cancer.   Thanks so much for all you do!! Debbie

August 28th - Braxton was 9 lbs and 10 oz and 22 1/2" long. Both Braxton and Mandie are doing fine after 19 hours of labor...God bless them both.   Thanks so much for all your prayers!!!!   Debbie

August 25th - Donna&Butch Brown's son Andy had a heart attack Monday the 24th. They put in a long stint, he had one artery that was completely blocked. He will probably be released in a couple of days. Please keep this family in your prayers, they have been going through a lot lately. They really rely on the prayers. Thanks.

August 25th - Please pray for eternal rest for Susan Ravellette, 64, who passed away on Aug. 20th, and for peace and comfort for her family and friends. Susan grew up in LF and is the sister of Patti Hammons, who is a parishioner at LF.  Peggy Clegg

August 25th - One of our social workers is having surgery for possible ovarian cancer today. please pray for Josette, that her tumor is benign and she comes through surgery well. thank you. Georgia

August 25th - My neice Mandie will be having a C-section today to deliver her son Braxton. Please pray that there are no complications and that mother and son come through with flying colors. Thanks so much and blessings to all!   Debbie

August 19th - Please pray for eternal rest for our parishioner, Patricia McClellan, who died on 8/16 and whose funeral liturgy will be tomorrow at 10am at Little Flower. Also, please pray for eternal rest for Amy Borreggine, from Our Lady of Lourdes. She passed away on 8/14 and Fr. Bob did her funeral service today at Shirley Brothers. August 17th - Marsha Kosinski is the daughter of Ed Milligan. She is in Community Hospital fighting a bad infection and reaction to medicine.

August 13th - Al Brite told me today his doctor report was very good. He wants to thank all who prayed for him, he said the prayers were very powerful.

August 6th - Please keep John Kroll in your prayers. He has had a reoccurrence of lung cancer that is also in his liver. Pray for his wife, Lois.   Peace Len Murray

August 5th - Would you please say a prayer for my husband and a friend of his. They are presenting a project to a client tomorrow and if the client likes it they will buy it and order more. That would be really nice for us. They have worked very hard on it. Thank you so much. Love you, Cindy

July 31st - A dear friend of mine has had some major battles in her life (ie: running from stalkers, having her motherhood challenged, her and her husband lost their jobs). She is a very strong woman who gets her strength from a strong faith in God, her children and husband. Whenever I talk with her she is always so positive, caring and so good. July 27th - Please include John Huser on the Prayer Vine. John and his wife, Barbara, were long-time parishioners of Little Flower. For many years, he was one of the major lay leaders of the parish. He is seriously ill at this time.  Fr. Bob

July 27th - Our parishioner, Eva Hodgson, (92) passed away on July 26th. She was active in St. Vincent DePaul and volunteered at Community Hospital for a number of years before her health declined. She was a “doer” and loved helping others. May God grant Eva eternal rest and bring comfort to her 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.  Peggy

July 24th - I had sent out a prayer request for Lois Richter a few times before because she is battling cancer. She is a long time, very dedicated volunteer for Birthline. She is still going through chemo and she is experiencing some bad side effects from it. Please put Lois in your prayers to be cured of cancer and that she is relieved of the side effects she is experiencing.  Blessings to all, Debbie

July 20th - Eileen Nantz, sister of parishioner Amy Barbar, died suddenly on Sunday, July 19th. Details are currently pending. Please pray for Amy and for all of their family dealing with this loss.

July 16th - Please pray for the family of Janet Boyle who passed away and whose funeral Mass will be this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with calling from 10-10:30 in church. Janet was married to Fr. Bob’s cousin, Mike Boyle. They lived in Florida. Please pray for eternal life for Janet and for comfort for Mike and for all of Janet and Mike’s family and friends.  Peggy Clegg

July 14th - Julie is having a masectomy on Thursday, the information is below. Julie has a son, Elijah, who is going into the 7th grade this year and her mother, Charlene has been a parishoner for a long time. Please keep all of them in your prayers.

July 10th - Can you guys pray for my sister? She is the most awesome person I know. She owns several companies and with this economy it is hitting them hard. She takes care of our 88 year old mother. She pays for everything... her apartment, food, doctors, utilities, EVERYTHING. She also helps take care of numerous WWII veterans that were on my Dad's LST. She donates her time for disaster relief in NYC (she is also a registered nurse) and helps out all of her family. The list could go on and on. And she never asks for anything in return. Can you ask that God helps her be able to keep her clients and also to bring the companies additional work. Thanks so much. I think an angel or two would help.   Love, Cindy

July 10th - Rose is a wonderful woman I work with. She actually belongs to Holy Rosary parish and her children attend Central Catholic. She lives in a 2 bedroom apartment with her 2 children and her mother. Her children are 10 and 13. Her mother has a number of medical problems and Rose has problems with her heart. Please pray that Rose receives the help she needs, finds a place to live that is reasonably priced with 3 bedrooms and able to find a job baking that is close to her home. July 1st - We received notification from Dave that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He begins radiation treatment tomorrow. He is undergoing treatment at the Veteran’s Hospital. Please pray for Dave and his family as they deal with his illness. Dave receives no income from his job unless he is working. Dave is a member of our Catholic Center family.

June 29th - Please pray for KC, who took a sudden turn for the worst and is actively dying from esophageal cancer--and for his friends and family. And please pray for my friend who has had far too much loss and stress in his life recently. Georgia

June 25th - Please keep our parishioner, Carol Murphy, in your prayers. She was just diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having surgery sometime in July. Carol’s husband, Charlie, died in January, so Carol has been through a lot in the past six months. Thanks,  Peggy

June 20th - Liz's sister-in-law had her dissertaion proposal defense moved to this Monday. She is very anxious about this because she needs to do really well so that she may move forward in her program.  Liz's Aunt Marsha is being treated for cancer. June 18th - Butch Brown is having an operation to repair a hiatal hernia. He's having a difficult time breathing; it has moved to the chest area. This will be at Clarion Health Center, Dr. Stevens will be his surgeon. Please pray that all goes well.

June 15th - Tom Quarto will be going in for delicate eye surgery tomorrow at 8 a.m. The hope is to correct some serious issues in his right eye. He and Jackie ask for your prayers for a successful surgery that will help restore sight to that eye.

June 12th - The family of Bud Moody would like to thank everyone for their prayers during his long illness. He passed away this afternoon, very peacefully only hours after Fr Bob anointed him.  Anita

June 10th - Please pray for the repose of the soul of Dorothy Weisheit, my husband’s great grandmother, who passed away in her sleep yesterday afternoon. We are so thankful for her life- she was a wonderful and vibrant woman! Also, please pray for my sister-in-law, Heather. She has her dissertation proposal defense this afternoon from 1-4pm. This has been a long, hard road for her and will mark the beginning of another phase of hard work, but she needs to continue moving forward!   Thanks! Liz
